Staging Your Home For Sale
Present your home in the most attractive way possible.
Once you’ve decided to proceed with the sale of your home, have completed minor renovations, and repairs, you need to stage it to make it as attractive as possible to potential buyers. A potential buyer needs to be able to imagine themselves living in your home, and staging can make a huge difference here.
First things first, declutter your home! Any shelves which are overloaded with memorabilia or family photos need to be put away. You want your home to have an open, clean feel to it.
Secondly, you need to make sure the floors and baseboards are freshly cleaned, and that the walls are ceilings are clear of cobwebs. You’ll want to do a thorough job of cleaning your sinks and the area around the sinks, ensuring there is no rust or calcium residue.
If you have too much furniture, you may want to put some in storage during the showing process. You want to have open and clear pathways, and allow the rooms to look as large as possible.
